New logistic center opened in Budapest - Schenker's Hungarian subsidiary, Schenker Kft., has moved into a new logistics center in the Budapest Intermodal Logistic Center (BILK). This means that yet another ultramodern facility has been added to further strengthen the Schenker network in Eastern Europe. The facility has been tailored to the growing customer demand for logistics services. more info	Continental relies on Schenker rail services in East Europe - The international automotive supplier Continental links East European plants and West European sites by rail. More than 90 per cent of all goods produced at the Puchov plant in Slovakia are transported to Germany by rail. Schenker has taken over dispatch logistics for truck tires in this modern Continental plant. more info
JET Cargo: airfreight service from Far East destinations - Since last September, SCHENKER started with new unique airfreight service from the Far East.
